Yeah the way he's so reactive and quick in the moment makes me think Se dom.
I'm having trouble seeing Aladdin as an Ne-dom. He was very quick on his feet, agile, quick thinking, and good at reacting in-the-moment. In fact, that's why Jafar needed him to get the lamp. He knew Aladdin was athletically skilled enough to get it. I don't see him coming up with lots of ideas and dreaming about possibilities like XNFPs do. He's more focused on ACTING on those possibilities. He seems Se-dom. I think Genie is the ENFP, while Aladdin is ESFP.
Nearly every Disney protagonist is ENFP and nearly every antagonist is ENTJ or INTJ, it seems.
I swear. Every Disney character is a freaking ENFP - 7w6. Never anything different! Lol.
I can't see Aladdin as a T. ESTP seems unlikely to me. I think he uses Te over Ti.
I'm not sure between ESFP and ENFP. I haven't watched this for a while, but slightly lean towards ESFP. The votes for ENFP are high, but I don't remember a reason for him to be N. I will revote later after I watch it again sometime.
I totally agree with HarmonicPsyche, Aladdin is an ENFP. 7w6 Sx/SP.
HarmonicPsyche, well, Aladdin is a type 7 after all. That said, I guess there are some similarities between type 7 and how Ne base is perceived. He can be ENFP.
Aladdin is far too quick-witted and gregarious to be ISFP. He loved being in the spotlight while running from the guards. His clever style of messing with people (seen in the beginning) is very clearly Ne. That clever Ne-dominance is also how he tricks the genie into freeing him without using a wish. Speaking of the crazy ideas that he comes up with on the spot, howabout the way he defeats Jafar? Aladdin /outwits/ him. He outwitted an INTJ. Everything about his personality screams Ne-loving Trickster.
I will actually defend ENFP Aladdin to my dying breath. His Ne gets him through his life in that he always finds a way out of unfortunate situations by coming up with crazy ideas that actually end up working. I think he's an extrovert by virtue of the fact that he meets Jasmine on the street, before ever having met her before, and basically entangles himself in her life. He has no problem being the center of attention, and even calls for it when he goes out and steals food in the market. He actively engages with the soldiers and jokes around with them because he knows he can't lose (more Ne?).
