He seems to be ESTP from what I've seen in the movies, but it tends to vary by writer. I would say Comics version overall is an ENTP, though. Here's an interesting article on Comic Deadpool being ENTP: https://zombiesruineverything.com/2014/12/23/mbti-deadpool-entp/
I don't know about ENTP. He doesn't come across as one. He isn't funny either. Sorry fans.
The Dead from film appears to actually be more Se user, does not seem to fall much in the fantasy world like the hq does.
I'm a dominant Se-user and I can identify with Deadpool's personality (from the movie at least). He doesn't seem to lose his sense of reality and chase possibilities and ideas; instead, he is very capable of taking control of current situations and turning them into his own pace with arsenal of tools at his disposal - combinations of wit, brute force, manipulation. He is heavily action-oriented but has a knack for showing off his 'grand wit' to impress the audience or throw his enemies off loop. A clever ESTP = Deadpool
Okay, I see what you mean now. I guess it depends on the comics and writers for him too, just like with the Joker who also fluctuates between ENTP and ESTP (but Joker's mainly ENTP of course).
He lives in a fantasy world, he almost idealizes what happens right now. He is talking to Cable at a party, but it is actually a doll inside your room. Yes, that came after Weapon X, and the curse of Thanos, but still, it is unusual for a If gift. And even before these events he already liked to connect ideas and was quite imaginative, but over time it was getting worse. If it is an ESTP, it has many ENTP traits also because I see Si lower it when it connects ideas and events of the past that makes creating connections and search for events within the same, and he did not even know if it's real or it was created by your mind. And Breaking the Fourth Wall = very Ne.
He especially comes off as ENTP in the movie.
He is undeniably nuts and delusional but mental illness is not related to type. Like I see where you're going but not everyone who has Dissasociative Identity Disorder will be Ne. I've also found it more common for Se users to play around with identities (especially the Se musicians like Gaga, Bowie, Nicki Minaj, Marina Diamandis, blah blah blah). I don't deny that there are some comics where he's ENTP but overall he's widely portrayed as ESTP.
In the comics I read it is well ENTP. Before I thought ESTP because he played in danger, but he is hardly a well-trained ENTP and IMMORTAL. The way he thinks and falls into fanciful events where you think is real to me is well Ne. He talks with identities that he himself created, it is as Ne!
Yes, he's totally ESTP.*
Yes, he's a totally ESTP.
ESTP. Where is the Ne? He is random but he's all about engaging and conquering his environment and seizing opportunities.
ENTJ? lol wut
